South Korean up-and-coming designer, Lie Sang Bong, recently unveiled his AW 2016 collection in New York.

I’ve taken some of his pieces and incorporated some of his favorite element inspirations to create this mix and match.

Using black as my base (one of Lie’s favorite colors), I added touches of grey and coal in various fabrics of cashmere wool, silks, and leather.  Patterns with circles, lines and squares gave my styling interest.  For a touch of edgy elegance, I used a black lacquered texture on this old Asian hat.  I thought it turned out kinda cool.
